MY NEW LOVE, BABY BRONX!

This is our new joy in our family, Bronx David Blasucci! I love just starring at him all day, watching him change and all his new facial expressions. He has brought so much meaning to my life, and I love being a mom. I can't stop taking pictures of him, so I will post more soon. Enjoy!

My oldest niece Maggie just graduated from high school and is coming to college at the UofU. We are so excited to have her close. Congrats!

MAY BABY SHOWERS

I was so blessed to have five showers in the month of May. Unfortunately my camera has been acting up, so I don't have very many pictures that actually turned out. I thought I would post a few that did though. Thanks to those that threw me a shower, and thanks everyone that came to my showers! This little guy has already been so spoiled.

HAPPY EASTER!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHET!

I just wanted to post some pictures of Chet's birthday. We didn't do anything too exciting where it was a work day, but I think he had a good evening celebrating. We went to dinner, and then invited some friends over last minute to eat cake and ice cream and play games. Thanks to those that wished Chet a "Happy Birthday."

RUGBY WEEKEND

This weekend we made the drive to St. George for Chet's rugby tournament. It was so nice to get away and spend time together and with friends. Chet played the whole game and did so great. He has a blast playing with his friends, and I have fun watching him and hanging out with the girls. This first pic is of Chet with Brad and Alicia's little girl Addy. She is so adorable and we just love having her around. We can't wait for our little guy to join us. Today is my 6 1/2 month mark. I am starting to get anxious to get the nursery put together, so that will be my next project. I will keep you posted with baby boy updates.

IT'S A BABY BOY!!!

I think you can tell by how often I update our blog, that I am just not a big blogger. But I thought that I should at least post our exciting news. I had my ultrasound last week and we are having a baby boy. We couldn't be happier. Growing up with all boys, I was really hoping for a boy. Everyone else thought it was a girl, so they had convinced me of that too. So when we saw his plumbing on the ultrasound, I was so suprised and thrilled. Chet is definitely excited to have his little boy. When we got home from the hospital, I had a cute little package and balloon on our doorstep from my sweet friends. It made my day even greater. Thanks Lindsay and Amy! And for those of you that didn't even know I was pregnant, sorry I am not very good at spreading the news. We kept it a secret for four months and suprised our families on Christmas Eve with the news. It really made it a memorable and fun Christmas.

K so Chet just got upset because I referred to OUR blog as MY blog. I was saying that I have nothing exciting or new going on to post about. And he rambles off a whole list of things that are new in his life. So don't be surprised if you start to see posts by my husband. Chet started his new job in September so we are just trying to adjust to our new schedules. He has and will be traveling a lot for the next little bit, so I need some suggestions on books. I need a good book to read while I am bored and lonely. Any suggestions?

VEGAS VACATION... WITH THE MILLERS

Labor Day weekend we took a road trip to Vegas with our wonderful friends Jess and Taylor. We stopped in St. George to break up the long drive, so some of these pics are from there. The first night we stayed at the Mandalay Bay. We didn't do so hot at the slots, but the Mandalay pool was a big HIT! They have a wave pool and a lazy river that kept us entertained all day. I honestly felt like I was a little kid all over again. Body surfing and the race around the lazy river was my favorite. We kept saying, "One more time!"

For our wedding anniversary, we got tickets to go see the "O" Show at the Bellagio that night. I absolutely loved it. I was amazed by the whole thing. Chet thought it was weird and ok. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that has not been.

On Saturday, the boys had a day full of working out, U of U football, and more football. Jessie and I had a day full of shopping, so we were all happy. That night we went to Caesar's Palace so I could hit up the MAC store and get some good food at the Cheesecake Factory. It is funny how we have one here in Salt Lake now, but it is still a must for Vegas vacations.

On our drive home, Jessie made sure we stopped for a picture at the Beaver Chevron. She couldn't believe that we didn't have a picture on the big rocking chair, so we had to get one for the photo book. By the way, this is my first official post with pictures so I am learning. Thanks Jill for setting up my blog! I guess I have been forced into blogging now. It took me forever to decide to start one because I am on my computer all the time for work, so I usually hate spending my extra time on it too. Maybe this will help me be better at staying in touch with everyone since I am horrible at it. So the pics that were posted were ones that Jill had from doing our wedding video. When I figure out how to do it, I will post some of my favorites for those of you that were not able to make it. It is kind of old news though. We will have our one year anniversary on August 17th. I can't believe it has already been a year.
