MY LITTLE TOUGH BOY

I received the scariest call on Friday, my nanny telling me that Bronx had fallen and cut his head open. I immediately started crying and thinking the worst. I was so sad that he was in pain. And also, I am the girl that hates scars so BAD, and now my beautiful little boy was going to have a big scar on his face. I called my neighbor and had her run over. She called and said that it was definitely going to need stitches. (Thanks Ashley! You seriously helped so much and are so wonderful!) I then made a quick call to my pediatrician that recommended Primary Children's where it was his face. Luckily, I was not too far from home that day and I got there in less than fifteen minutes. When I got home, Bronx wasn't even crying. He just gave me a big hug. Sweet boy! As you can see from the picture, the cut was deep and wide. He ended up with three stitches underneath and seven on top. Chet was in Chicago for work, so I had to play tough mom all alone. Kristine was there with me so that helped a lot. Bronx was really funny on the meds. He talks all the time anyways and with the help of the meds he entertained everyone. I am just so happy that he is okay and pray that will be our last visit to the ER. (At least for awhile!)

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, and Yoda
Doesn't Bronx make the cutest Yoda you have ever seen? I decided to make Chet's dreams come true this year. For all of those who know Chet, know that he is a Star Wars nerd! We had Bronx's Yoda costume and then I made the other two costumes. (With the help of my friend Karli)
